Part 1039: Operational Report: 10/10/44

The Trident] is hit by depth charges.



I'm going to see how effective these bombing runs have been today, when the attack goes in.



It does, and does fairly well, but our forces may have the advantage in AV, but the Japanese have the advantage in numbers and guns – we do destroy one of their units however!



The Japanese strike north of Rangoon, and we take down a number of their planes.







That's it, I'm going back to night bombing.



We learn that the Japanese are moving more troops into Hokkaido, maybe they fear I shall launch my invasion up here?







The Japanese forces at Manado continue to collapse.









I've started loading for the next wave of the invasions, so it will be interesting to see how they work. I'm most worried about Saipan, as it has a fortress, but its 200 points, and I want it.
